Ever watch “This Old House”? This turned out to be “This Old Cottage”. There were a number of issues that led us to gut the place. Electrical needed updating, kitchen cabinets were crusty, the bathroom was a mess and very ‘70s. What started out as a project to replace some windows, refinish floors and patch some sheetrock turned into a 4 month project that left one internal wall standing. Everything else went (in pieces) to our town dump. Below are some highlights of the project. I tried to put some before and after shots next to each other where I had them.
