Cottage Pictures

It was a four month renovation project. It started on January 20th 2003 and was completed on May 15th 2003. One thing led to another so the whole place was gutted. The kitchen came out with a sledgehammer and sawzall, as did the bathroom. I happily wrenched out the old drywall by hand. All new fixtures, walls and windows were installed, with an eye toward human conveniences (switched outlets, book shelves, bed reading lights, kitchen task lighting, real wood window blinds and more!) The wood floors were sanded and refinished too. Ceramic floors now sit in the kitchen where two layers of old & crusty linoleum once was. This floor was taken down to the sub-floor and rebuilt to accept ceramic. So below are pictures of your accommodations. You can click here to see some before and after shots too!
